What started as a passion for lashes, brows and helping others build their confidence has grown into something much bigger. Today, JB Lash Academy is home to a team of six beauty professionals, offering an extensive range of beauty treatments from our dedicated Lash and Brow Salon in central Slough.
As our salon continues to grow, so does our treatment menu, our availability and our commitment to providing our clients with a welcoming space where they can enjoy professional beauty treatments.
But we're not just a beauty salon. We're also an accredited beauty training academy, helping aspiring beauty professionals take their first steps into the industry.

From a Passion for Beauty to a Growing Team of Six
When I first started JB Lash Academy, I had a vision of creating more than just another beauty salon.
I wanted to build a business where clients could access a wide variety of professional beauty treatments, where quality and education were at the heart of everything we did, and where aspiring beauty professionals could learn and develop their skills.
Watching that vision become a reality has been incredibly rewarding.
Today, we're a growing team of six, each bringing different skills, experience and specialities to the salon.
As our team has expanded, we've been able to introduce more treatments, increase our appointment availability and welcome even more clients through our doors.
And the best part? We're still growing!

We understand that finding time for beauty appointments isn't always easy.
Between work, family commitments, school runs and everything else life throws at us, fitting in a beauty appointment can sometimes feel impossible.
That's one of the reasons expanding our team has been so important.
With six beauty professionals, we're able to offer increased appointment availability, including evenings and weekends.
We're open seven days a week!
Monday – Friday: 9:30 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Our weekday appointments cover most of our treatment menu, while weekends offer selected treatments, including Classic Lashes, Wet Look Lashes, YY Lashes, Facials and Lash Lifting.
Whether you prefer an appointment after work, during the school day or at the weekend, we aim to make booking your beauty treatments as convenient as possible.
Meet Jodie – The Passion Behind JB Lash Academy
Hi, I'm Jodie, the owner and trainer behind JB Lash Academy! 💜
My journey into the beauty industry wasn't exactly a conventional one.
Before entering the beauty industry, I worked as a payroll manager. Following difficulties with nerve entrapment, I found myself taking a completely different career path.
What started as a career change developed into a genuine passion for beauty, education and helping others.
I understand firsthand how daunting it can feel to change careers, learn something completely new and start building a business from scratch.
But I also understand how rewarding it can be.
Today, I get to do something I absolutely love: running my own beauty salon, working alongside a growing team and training aspiring beauty professionals who want to create opportunities for themselves.
And that's something I'm incredibly proud of.
More Than a Salon – We're Also a Beauty Training Academy
Alongside running the salon, one of my biggest passions is education.
As an accredited beauty trainer, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge, techniques and experience with students who are looking to start or develop their careers in the beauty industry.
Our training academy offers a range of courses, from individual beauty qualifications to intensive training programmes.

Our courses are accredited by Beauty Industry Approval (BIA), and we welcome both complete beginners and existing beauty professionals.
My approach to training is simple: I don't just want students to leave with certificates. I want them to leave with knowledge, practical experience and the confidence to put their new skills into practice.
That's why our training focuses on small classes, hands-on experience with live models and ongoing support.
Students also benefit from lifetime access to their online learning materials, opportunities for shadow days and continued guidance after completing their courses.
I know that learning doesn't stop when you receive your qualification. Developing confidence takes practice, and I want our students to know they have someone they can turn to as they continue their journey.
One of my favourite parts of being a trainer is watching students progress from complete beginners to confident beauty professionals, particularly when they go on to launch their own businesses.
Having experienced a career change myself, it's incredibly rewarding to help others work towards their own goals.
