Jodie
Jodie is an extremely experienced lash artist and has been qualified for over 5 years and a Brow Artist for 12 years. She opened her Slough Lash and Brow Salon in May 2024 after building a loyal and strong client base for 5 years.
She Placed 3rd in the LBN Awards Wispy Lash Artist of the Year in 2024 and had been a finalist for various awards such as the Lash Awards, HBA Awards and more, Has placed in the top 50 of Lash Artist of the Year in the Beauty Full Awards 2023. She is passionate about being a Lash Artist and strives to improve my own skills on a daily basis.
She has taken part in masterclasses such as Buff Browz, Abbie Cox (AMC Brows), Laura Victory (Lash Artist), The Detailist and Karis Warren (The Lash Specialist) providing me with a wealth of knowledge for my students and client care.
About Jodie
After a long career in finance (over 13 years) I had decided to train to be a lash technician as a way to unlock the path to being my own boss. During the pandemic I was fortunate enough to have the time to practise my skills and perfect my practical skills, which turned out extremely successful for me. When losing my job I was extremely lucky to have these skills to fall back on and I decide to start to full time career as a Lash Artist. Now over 4 years later I have become fully booked and busy!

You will receive ongoing technique support throughout and beyond your learning journey with me. Helping you to achieve eyelash extension certification and a fully qualified lash technician. I am extremely passionate about my craft and always expanding my own knowledge which can help you to grow your business! We are based in Slough but we also offer online learning courses which have continuous training support and an online community.

With a foundation in clinical knowledge and experience in the beauty industry, I bring both precision and a personal touch to every treatment. I understand how emotional and personal the skin journey can be, and I’m here to provide support, clarity, and professional care at every step.
In addition to my skin therapy expertise, I am also trained in laser treatments such as laser hair removal, pigmentation reduction, capillary treatment, and skin tightening - offering a more comprehensive approach when needed.

Alisha
Junior Lash Technician & Brow Artist
Alisha is our Junior Lash Artist at JB Lash Academy. She was trained by Jodie herself and has been a client with us too so she really understands both sides of the business.
For the past 7 years she has worked in the TV and Film industry as a makeup artist and prop maker. During this time she made everything from bodies for Wicked and Grace, to animals for Mary and George and helmets for Lockwood & Co. With her background in make up artistry and prosthetics she is an excellent addition to our team.
