Understanding Lash Shapes and Designs

When we refer to “shape” or “design,” we’re talking about where the longest lashes are placed to enhance your eyes — such as Cat Eye, Kitten Eye, or Open Eye. 

 

All extensions are applied to a single natural eyelash, regardless of the style. Treatment times are typically 1.5 hours or more to ensure quality and precision. 

 

Every appointment includes a full consultation to help determine what suits your eyes best, whether you’re a first-timer or a returning client.

Classic Lashes

The original natural-looking lash style. A single fibre is applied to one natural lash, enhancing length without excess volume. Ideal for a subtle, everyday look. 

 

Pros: 

  • Natural appearance 

  • Adds length 

  • Shedding appears natural 

  • Great for everyday wear 

 

Cons: 

  • Does not add volume or fullness 

  • Less texture compared to other styles 

  • Not ideal for curly or sparse natural lashes 

Wet Look Classic Lashes

Also known as “Angel Lashes.” This style uses multiple fibres on one lash, creating textured tips and a slightly more defined finish. 

 

Pros: 

  • Strong bond due to wrapping technique 

  • Textured finish with a natural appearance 

  • Suitable for curly or delicate natural lashes 

  • Long-lasting and natural-looking shedding 

 

Cons: 

  • Limited volume increase 

  • Less dramatic than volume styles

Hybrid Lashes

A combination of different lash types—typically classic, wet look, and handmade fans—applied across your lash line. This gives a fuller, more textured result. 

 

Pros: 

  • Medium volume enhancement 

  • Can range from natural to slightly fuller 

  • Good for clients wanting a noticeable but refined look 

 

Cons: 

  • Shedding may appear as gaps depending on lash density 

  • Overall fullness depends on the number of natural lashes 

Wet Look Russian Lashes

These are fuller angel lashes and can give you an anime lash look if made wispy. These are closed volume/russian lashes which create a choppy textured set. 

 

Pros: 

  • Medium volume enhancement 

  • Can range from natural to slightly fuller 

  • Good for clients wanting a noticeable but refined look 

 

Cons: 

  • Shedding is less noticeable   

  • Overall fullness depends on the number of natural lashes

Volume/Russian Lashes

This style uses handmade lash fans applied to each natural lash for a bold, voluminous result. Ideal for clients who prefer a glamorous or dramatic effect. 

 

Pros: 

  • Significant increase in volume 

  • Perfect for special occasions or bold everyday wear 

 

Cons: 

  • May feel too full for some clients 

  • Shedding can result in more noticeable gaps
